I’m Maggie, the heart behind Maggie J Photography, and for almost 18 years, I have been capturing life’s most precious moments with a natural and heartfelt approach. My love for photography runs deep, and I take great pride in offering a stress-free and enjoyable experience that brings out the best in every family, child, or couple I photograph.

While I used to photograph 30-40 weddings per year, I now take on a select number (3-5 annually) to give each couple my full attention. I specialize in outdoor family and maternity sessions, where kids can laugh, run, and be themselves, creating images filled with life and authenticity. Many of my clients return every year, and I’ve had the joy of watching their children grow from babies to teenagers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your hours?

I don't keep set hours. All the sessions are by appointment only. I do my best to keep a couple days a week for family only, but I usually end up answering emails or editing.

Where are you located?

We live in Orefield PA, and my studio is also located in Orefield on the property of Retriever Brewing Company. For the outdoor sessions, I usually recommend beautiful locations within the Lehigh Valley such as the Lock Ridge Park in Alburtis or Trexler Game Preserve in Schnecksville. But I also love to venture out to Beltzville Lake or the Fonthill Castle outside of Doylestown.

Do you accept reservations?

Yes, all the sessions are pre-booked.

What payment options do you accept?

My clients normally pay through my business Venmo account or with a check or credit card.

How long does it take to get our gallery?

My clients' galleries are usually delivered within one week of the session. However, during very busy months, it could be up to two weeks. For weddings, I post a sneak peek on FB within the week after your wedding. The full gallery is then available within 1-2 months.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. It depends on the type of the shoot or if it's a wedding. I am happy to share the details before your booking.
